Being more spiritual than …..

* Are you wanting to be free – Free – yes totally free, as you are, to live, love, create, and thrive, in all ways, in all areas of life?

There is always an opportunity for self-inquiry – as I read a quote today from the beautiful spiritual teacher Mooji, this prompted me to ask some questions, that may be of support for you.

* Do you have some idea that being a certain way, looking a certain way, living a certain way, even earning an income a certain way is ‘more spiritual’?

The minds game, the identity, or the ego – is often about being better than, being seen as better than, or more invested in a ‘Spiritual’ identity – rather than being here as we are, living, loving, creating, and thriving.

People will always judge, they are judging us – and – if we are willing to really tell the truth, we find that we are also judging them.

This is especially true around Money and Spirituality

The quote I read today, from the beloved teacher Mooji points straight to the truth of this….

“If you think it’s more “spiritual” to become a vegetarian, buy Organic Foods, practice yoga and meditate, but then you find yourself judging those who don’t do all these things, you fell into an ego trap.

If you think it’s more “spiritual” riding a bike or public transport at work, but then you’re judging those in the car, you fell into an ego trap.

If you think it’s more “spiritual” to stop watching tv because it cancels your brain, but then you’re judging those who still look at you, you fell into an ego trap.

If you think it’s more “spiritual” to avoid reading newspapers and gossip magazines, but then you judge those who read them, you fell into an ego trap.

If you think it’s more “spiritual” listening to classical music or sounds of nature, but then you’re judging who listens to commercial music, you fell into an ego trap.

You always have to be careful about the feeling of “superiority”. It is the most important clue we have to realize that we are dealing into an ego trap.

The ego is cleverly hidden in noble thoughts like to start a vegetarian diet or use the bicycle and then turn into a sense of superiority towards those who do not follow the same spiritual path.” ~ Mooji
* Would you like to investigate the truth of this?

It takes being willing to tell the truth, to ask truthful questions, to be willing to meet the pain shame, and judgement underneath.

* Are you wanting to be free – Free – yes totally free, as you are, to live, love, create, and thrive, in all ways, in all areas of life?

Start by asking yourself this question :

* In what ways or what areas are you desiring freedom?

Take a moment to investigate and open to each of the areas of your life:

• Health – wellness, vitality, fitness, diet, food, exercise
• Wealth – money, income, career, finances
• Spirituality – practice, meditation, retreat, self inquiry
• Relationship – family, partner, children, intimacy, sexuality
• Creativity – art, movement, expression

As you investigate a specific area, you may like to ask yourself these deeper questions, using all of the different ways we experience, engage with and show up in life ( how we see – visual, how we feel, what we think , how we act – doing, and how we are – being )

* Visual:
What do I see when I investigate this area of my life – how does it look, what images arise in my mind, my awareness? What is the visual presentation, the visual projection? What am I hiding, through what and how I present myself visually to the world? – How am I judging myself or others? What is that covering? How do I want it to look? What will that give me?

* Feeling:
What do I feel when I investigate this area of my life – how do I feel physically, emotionally, energetically? What feelings arise in my body, physically, emotionally, energetically, in my awareness? What is the emotional or sensory presentation, or projection? What am I hiding, through what and how I present myself emotionally to the world? – How am I judging myself or others? What is that covering? How do I want it to feel? What will that give me?

* Thinking:
What do I think when I investigate this area of my life – What am I thinking – what thoughts I’m having, telling myself, believing? What am I telling myself or believing physically, emotionally, energetically? What thoughts are in my awareness, what is the mental, thought pattern, presentation, or projection? What am I hiding, through what and how I present myself mentally to the world? – How am I judging myself or others? What is that covering? How do I want to think? What will that give me?

* Doing:
What do I do or not do in this area of my life – how do I do this? How do I act – What actions do I take or avoid? What is the action, presentation, or projection? What am I hiding, through what and how I present myself though my actions in the world or by avoiding taking action in the world? – How am I judging myself or others? What is that covering? What do I want to do or how do I want to act? What will that give me?

* Being:
What is my state of being as I investigate this area of my life? How am I being? What states of being do I use as a presentation, or projection? What am I hiding, through what and how I am being in the world or by avoiding being in the world? – How am I judging myself or others? What is that covering? How do I want to be? What will that give me?

Through the work I offer and what I have discovered through investigating for myself – is that freedom is available in every area, regardless of life or circumstance.

* If you would like support to really Live, Love, Create and Thrive, in any or all areas of life, please leave me a comment or send me a private message and we can have a conversation about what would be most supportive for you.

So much love – Yantra-ji
